EVENTS: UOWM Showcases Mid-Term Success and Cross-Border Collaboration in GOTOTWIN
On February 2026, the University of Western Macedonia (UOWM) prepared and disseminated a newsletter highlighting the progress achieved at the mid-point of the GOTOTWIN project implementation.
The newsletter presents the current status of the project, outlining the key activities implemented so far, with particular emphasis on the development of the Digital Twin platform and the progress achieved within Work Package 4 (WP4). The publication aims to inform the wider public, institutional stakeholders and the academic community about the project’s advancements and its contribution to the Adriatic-Ionian region.
Through this initiative, UOWM showcased:
- The development of the Digital Twin platform
- The progress of WP4 activities
- Cross-border collaboration among project partners
The newsletter contributes to strengthening the project’s visibility and enhancing public awareness of how advanced digital technologies are translated into practical solutions.
To maximise outreach and dissemination impact, the newsletter was published as a press release in two Greek newspapers, as well as through the LinkedIn profile of the Power and Energy Systems Laboratory and the official website of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of UOWM.
