EVENTS: GOTOTWIN at EUSAIR Forum in Skopje

The GOTOTWIN project was proudly represented at the 11th EUSAIR Forum in Skopje through the participation of Prof. Dr. Vladimir Atanasovski, contributing to the dialogue on the future of sustainable and digitally connected energy systems in the Adriatic-Ionian region.

Participation in the forum highlighted the strong alignment between the goals of the GOTOTWIN project and the core priorities of the EUSAIR strategy, particularly in the areas of:

  • Green energy transition
  • Energy system digitalization
  • Sustainability and resilience
  • Cross-border cooperation and interoperability
  • Harmonization of legislation for digital energy technologies

As the Adriatic-Ionian region accelerates its transition toward renewable energy sources, Digital Twin technologies are becoming increasingly important for enabling real-time monitoring, predictive analytics, optimization, and smarter decision-making in modern energy systems. The GOTOTWIN project actively contributes to this transformation by developing  innovative Digital Twin solutions for Renewable Energy Sources, while also supporting policy dialogue and regional cooperation aimed at creating harmonized regulatory frameworks for energy digitalization and interoperability.

The EUSAIR Forum provided an excellent opportunity to disseminate the project results, strengthen collaboration with regional stakeholders, and emphasize the importance of coordinated approaches toward a sustainable, resilient, and digitally integrated energy future.

The GOTOTWIN project is implemented under the Interreg IPA ADRION Programme and brings together partners from across the Adriatic-Ionian region to advance renewable energy through digital innovation.
